Connecting Leadinfo to AI: seeing which companies visited your website

Leadinfo can be connected to AI. The assistant retrieves which companies visited the website in a given period, which pages they looked at and how often they came back. These are signals, not people who got in touch, so you treat them as cold leads. The connector only reads: the assistant writes nothing back into Leadinfo.

The word lead raises an expectation that Leadinfo does not meet, and that is exactly where things go wrong. Anyone seeing a Leadinfo list for the first time thinks of people who filled in a form. It is not that. Leadinfo recognises which companies visited the website. Nobody asked to be contacted, there is no name and there is no consent. Work through that list as though these were enquiries and you get awkward calls and waste the best signals on the wrong companies. Use Leadinfo the way it is meant and it does deliver something. A company that comes back three times and opens the same product page each time is orienting itself. A company that landed on a blog post once is not. That difference sits in the visiting behaviour, and it is precisely that difference which disappears when somebody simply reads the list from top to bottom. An AI connector turns that list into a conversation: you ask who came by more than once this week and which pages they read, and you get a picture instead of an export. What you then do with it is yours to decide, and writing anything back into Leadinfo is not part of it.

What Leadinfo passes to the assistant

Which companies came by

You ask about the visits over a period, this week or last month for instance, and the assistant lists the recognised companies. A useful starting point for the Monday sales meeting.

The behaviour of one company

For a company that stands out, the assistant can retrieve the behaviour: which pages were viewed, how often and over which period. That is the difference between somebody browsing and somebody comparing.

The company details alongside

The recognised companies come with the company details Leadinfo maintains itself. The assistant brings those along, so you can place a visit in the right industry and size straight away.

Picking out repeat visits

The assistant judges on returning visits and on which pages were viewed, not on a single click. A one-off visit stays visible but does not get the same weight as a company that keeps coming back.

Reading only, never writing back

This connector only looks. The assistant changes nothing in Leadinfo, marks nothing and deletes nothing. What happens with a signal remains a human decision.

From a visit to a conversation

Sales

Situation
The sales team starts the week and wants to know which companies were on the site more than once over the past weekend and the week before.
What the agent does
The assistant retrieves the visits for that period and picks out the companies that returned more than once.
Result
A short list to talk about, instead of a file the meeting gets bogged down in.

Marketing

Situation
After a campaign, marketing wants to know whether companies from the target audience actually landed on the campaign page.
What the agent does
The assistant retrieves the visits for the campaign period and looks per company at which pages were viewed.
Result
A picture of who engaged, without having to build a report.

Account management

Situation
An existing customer suddenly appears in the visitor list and the account manager wants to know what they were looking at.
What the agent does
The assistant retrieves the behaviour of that one company and names the pages that drew attention.
Result
A reason for a conversation that is about the right subject.

Management

Situation
The board wants to know whether the new website attracts different kinds of companies than the old one.
What the agent does
The assistant places the recognised companies from the recent period side by side and looks at industry and size.
Result
An impression of the audience that goes further than visitor numbers alone.

What you arrange before it runs

  1. 1

    Make the connection

From your own Leadinfo account you grant access for the connector. It stays yours and can be withdrawn there as well, after which the assistant can do nothing with it.

  2. 2

    Looking without writing back

The connector knows only read actions. There is no switch that would let the assistant change something in Leadinfo, so that is one question you do not have to answer.

  3. 3

    Choose who may use it

You decide which roles or departments may use the visitor assistant. In practice that is often a small group in sales and marketing.

  4. 4

Agree what a signal is worth

During setup we agree together how a visit is judged, for instance only from a repeat visit onwards. Every question lands in the log, so it stays clear where a list came from.

Connected securely

Visitor data and what you may do with it

Visitor data concerns companies that did not know they stood out. That calls for restraint in who sees it and what happens with it.

Where the data lives: Nederland of de EU

Access stays yours

Access is arranged inside your own Leadinfo account and can be removed there at any moment. No employee login or password is kept anywhere.

Looking, not changing

Because the connector only reads, nothing in Leadinfo can go wrong through the assistant. Nothing is marked, nothing is added and nothing is thrown away.

Not for the whole organisation

You decide who uses this assistant. Visitor data is a commercial signal rather than general company information, so it does not need to be on everybody's screen.

On a dedicated server

The model runs on a dedicated server in the Netherlands. The visitor data from Leadinfo does not travel to an American model provider and is never used for training.

The questions that keep coming up about Leadinfo

Can I connect Leadinfo to ChatGPT?

ChatGPT has no built-in connection to Leadinfo. IntraGPT gives you the same chat experience with a connector that runs on your own access and only reads. You ask who came by and what they looked at, and the assistant answers straight from Leadinfo.

Does IntraGPT work with Leadinfo?

Yes. Leadinfo is in the IntraGPT list of connectors and is in use with customers. The assistant retrieves the visits over a period, the behaviour of an individual company and the company details that go with it.

Are these leads who got in touch?

No, and that is the most important thing to understand. Leadinfo recognises which companies visited the website. No enquiry was made and nobody asked to be contacted. Treat them as cold leads and check them against your own CRM before anyone is called.

Can the assistant change anything in Leadinfo?

No. This connector is read-only. The assistant cannot set a status, leave a note or remove a company. Whatever happens with a signal is done by a person inside Leadinfo itself or in the CRM where the follow-up lives.

Why do I see no names of individuals?

Because there are none. Leadinfo recognises companies, not individual visitors. So you know which company was on the site and which pages were viewed, but not who was behind the keyboard. Who you then approach is something you look up yourself or take from another source.

How do you decide which visit is worth acting on?

By looking at repetition rather than at a single visit. A company that returns several times and keeps opening the same pages really is looking. During setup we agree from which point the assistant presents a visit as a signal, so the list stays short and usable.

What does a Leadinfo connector cost?

Connecting is part of the project we run together. The work is driven by which agreements are made about judging visits, which roles may use the assistant and whether other sources join. The Leadinfo subscription itself you arrange directly with them.

How long does setup take?

Once access is arranged, the connector is in place quickly. Because nothing is written back, no complicated permission agreements are needed either. Most of the conversation is about how you want a visit judged and who gets to see the list.
