Connect ClickUp to AI: from space to task without clicking through
ClickUp can be connected to AI. The assistant finds its way through your arrangement of spaces, folders and lists and reports which tasks are open there, who holds them and when they are due. Creating and updating a task is possible too, if you enable that.
From space to task: what the assistant can reach
The spaces in view
The assistant knows the spaces of your workspace and therefore knows where to look. That is the starting point: without knowing how you arranged things, every question is a guess.
The route to the right list
From the space it works downward through folders to lists. Every task belongs to a list, so that list is the anchor for everything that follows: looking up, creating and updating.
Find tasks by status or person
Within a list the assistant pulls the tasks that belong to the question, everything held by one colleague for instance, or everything not yet finished. That gives you a workable set instead of the whole list.
Looking at deadlines
Ask what is due this week and the assistant bounds its answer to that period. It saves wading through tasks that only come into play months from now.
Create a task
The assistant can put a task in the designated list, with a name, description, assigned colleague, status, priority, deadline and labels. That task appears in other people lists, so it happens on explicit request.
Update a task
An existing task can get a different status, priority or deadline. The assistant first names which task it means and what it wants to adjust, before doing it.

Switch the connector on
You pick ClickUp in IntraGPT and grant the connector access to your workspace. That access comes from you and can be taken away just as easily.

Choose what takes part
You record which spaces and lists take part. Whatever falls outside that does not exist for the assistant, not even when somebody asks about it explicitly.

What the assistant is handed
Per question one bounded selection of tasks comes back. Attachments, comments and time tracking stay out of the answer.

Looking along or joining in
Creating and updating are switched on separately. With them off the assistant only answers questions. With them on, every change enters the log.
Tasks say something about people
A task list shows who is working on what, what keeps slipping and which customers cause trouble. That information should not simply reach everyone.

Access stays under your control
You grant the access to ClickUp and you withdraw it again. Once withdrawn, the assistant can retrieve nothing at all.
Assignments remain visible work
If the assistant assigns a task, that colleague is notified inside ClickUp as usual. That is why it confirms who it wants to hand the task to first.
Everything traceable
The log holds per action which list or task was touched and what came out of it. Afterwards it can be established who asked for a change and when.
On our own server
The model runs on our own server in the Netherlands. The content of your tasks does not go to an American model provider and is never used for training.
Questions about the ClickUp connector
Can I connect ClickUp to ChatGPT?
ChatGPT has no connection to ClickUp and cannot walk your arrangement of spaces and lists. Whatever you paste into it is a snapshot and it also leaves your environment. IntraGPT looks into ClickUp live with the access you grant yourself, and records every action.
Does IntraGPT work with ClickUp?
Yes. ClickUp is in the IntraGPT connector catalogue and is in use at customers. The assistant can walk spaces and lists, look up tasks and, if you allow it, create or update a task.
Our statuses are named differently in every space, does that work?
Yes, and we account for it during setup. One team works with to do, doing and done, another with picked up, in review and delivered. The assistant does not assume a standard set but uses the statuses configured in that space. That way the question what is finished really returns what that team considers finished, instead of an empty answer.
Can the assistant delete a task?
No. It can look up, create and update tasks. Deleting is deliberately absent, as is changing the arrangement of spaces, folders and lists. That remains work for someone with the right permissions inside ClickUp, because a deleted task is harder to get back than a wrongly set status.
What about spaces a team is not allowed to see?
You keep those outside the connector. You decide which spaces and lists take part, and everything beyond that is invisible to the assistant. That helps with a space for personnel matters or sensitive customer files: an assistant for the shop floor then cannot accidentally quote from it in an answer.
Who gets notified when the assistant assigns a task?
The same people who are notified when a colleague does it. A new task or a changed assignment lands in that person list and in their notifications. That is why the assistant first shows who it wants to name and with which deadline, and only creates the task after that.
What does a ClickUp connector cost?
The connecting is part of the track we go through together. What determines the work is how many spaces and lists take part, how differently the statuses per space are arranged, and whether the assistant may also create and update tasks.
How long does setup take?
Switching it on and going through the first spaces takes an hour. Recording which lists are used by default and which status names apply there takes a little longer, because it differs per team. In practice a first working setup is standing within a week.
