Connect Picqer to AI: know what is in stock without opening the warehouse system
Picqer can be connected to AI. The assistant searches products by article code or name, states the current stock per product and location, and retrieves orders with their status, from concept to completed. It can also create an order, but that is a real order the warehouse will pick. It takes that step only on an explicit request, after the customer, the products and the quantities have been checked.
What the assistant can look up in Picqer
Find products
The assistant searches articles by article code or by name and can restrict itself to what is actively in the range. That yields a short answer, even when the catalogue is large.
Current stock per location
For an article it has found, the assistant states the stock as it stands in Picqer at that moment, per location. This is the answer to whether something is still there, with the quantity and the place attached rather than an estimate.
Orders and their status
Orders come back with their status, so concept, being processed or completed. That lets the assistant answer questions about what is still waiting and what the warehouse has already handled.
Create an order
The assistant can record an order with the customer details, the articles and the quantities. That order genuinely lands in Picqer and will be picked, so it shows the lines first and waits for approval.
A connector per environment
If you run several web shops or warehouses in separate Picqer environments, each environment gets its own connector. Stock and orders from one never end up in an answer about the other.
From warehouse floor to customer service
E-commerce
- Situation
- A customer calls about an order that has not arrived and wants to know where it is.
- What the agent does
- The assistant finds the order by reference or customer name and reads off the status.
- Result
- The colleague answers on the spot instead of calling back once the warehouse has checked.
Customer service
- Situation
- Somebody asks whether an article can still be delivered before placing the order.
- What the agent does
- The assistant looks the article up and states the stock that is there at that moment.
- Result
- A promise that holds, and no follow-up call because the article turned out to be gone.
Warehouse
- Situation
- At the start of the day the team lead wants to know how many orders are still being processed.
- What the agent does
- The assistant retrieves the orders with that status and sums them up briefly.
- Result
- Staffing for the day is decided on the basis of what is actually waiting.
Purchasing
- Situation
- The buyer wants to know which articles in a product group are running low before ordering from the supplier.
- What the agent does
- The assistant walks through the active articles in that group and states the stock for each one.
- Result
- The purchase list comes out of the system instead of out of a warehouse colleague's memory.
Retail
- Situation
- A business customer phones in a repeat order that is normally keyed into Picqer by hand.
- What the agent does
- The assistant prepares the order with the articles, the quantities and the delivery address and shows it for checking.
- Result
- After approval the order sits in Picqer with no retyping, carrying the same details that were given on the phone.
How the link to your Picqer stands
-
1
Connecting from the platform
Picqer is ready and waiting in IntraGPT. You hand over a key from your own Picqer environment and point out which environment the assistant may work with.
-
2
Looking up and creating arranged separately
Looking things up works straight away. Creating orders is a separate choice you switch on deliberately and can restrict to the roles where it belongs.
-
3
What the assistant gets to see
It works question by question: an article, an order, a status. It therefore always sees a bounded slice of the catalogue or the order book, never everything at once.
-
4
What gets recorded
Every question and every created order goes into the log. That makes it possible to trace when something was recorded and who asked for it.
Creating an order is not a casual click
Looking something up in Picqer changes nothing, but a recorded order lands on a pick list and costs people and boxes. That is where the line sits.
Where the data lives: Nederland of de EU
Access stays under your control
The connector works with access you issue inside Picqer yourself and can revoke again. If it does not suit you, the connection is closed with a single action.
Writing behind an extra threshold
Creating an order never happens on the assistant's own initiative. It first shows the customer, the articles and the quantities and waits for confirmation before recording anything.
Traceable in the log
Because an order has physical consequences in the warehouse, what was created and at whose request is recorded. A mistake is therefore quick to trace.
On a dedicated server
The model runs on our own server in the Netherlands. Stock levels, customer details and delivery addresses are not sent to an American model provider and are never used for training.
Frequently asked questions about Picqer and AI
Can I connect Picqer to ChatGPT?
ChatGPT does not know your warehouse and cannot look inside it. IntraGPT is used like a chat, but with a connection to your own Picqer environment. You decide who may ask questions and who may have orders created, and everything that happens is recorded.
Does IntraGPT work with Picqer?
Yes. Picqer is one of the connectors ready to go in IntraGPT: finding articles, checking stock, following orders and, if you want, creating an order. It is a working integration already in use at clients.
Can the assistant create an order the warehouse will pick?
Only if you switch that on, and even then exclusively on an explicit request. The assistant first shows the customer details, the articles and the quantities. Only once somebody approves does the order sit in Picqer and appear on a pick list. If you would rather not have that option, you leave reading on and creating off.
Does it also work if we have several web shops or warehouses?
Yes. Each Picqer environment gets its own connector, with its own name in the platform. The assistant then takes the details from the environment the question belongs to and cannot bring in stock or an order from another web shop.
Is the stock the assistant mentions current?
Yes, it is taken from Picqer at the moment of the question and is not a copy from last night. The usual warehouse caveat still applies: picking is going on at the same time, so for a last remaining item it is wise to have it confirmed physically before you promise it to a customer.
Who in the company can use this assistant?
You decide that with the roles in IntraGPT. Often customer service gets the questions about stock and orders while creating orders stays with a smaller group. Colleagues without that role simply do not see the Picqer assistant in their list.
What does a Picqer connector cost?
There is no separate price tag on the connector; it belongs to the implementation project. The size of the work depends on the number of Picqer environments, on whether creating orders is permitted and on the roles that go with it. We work that through with you in an introductory call.
How long does setup take?
Looking things up usually works the same day. If you also want orders to be created, a little more time goes into agreeing the ground rules: which details travel along as standard, who may approve and what happens to an order created in error.
