Connecting MultiSafepay to AI: payment status and payment methods in one conversation
MultiSafepay can be connected to AI. The assistant creates a payment with a payment link, checks the status of an existing payment and shows which payment methods are available for your account. Refunding is possible too, in full or in part, but only on request and after the amount and the order have been confirmed.
What MultiSafepay returns through the connector
Create a payment
The assistant sets up a payment with the amount, the currency, the desired payment method and the customer details that belong with it. Out of that comes a payment link that can go to the customer.
The status of a payment
For an existing payment it checks where things stand: created, completed, declined or refunded. That is the answer to the question customer service asks most often.
Which payment methods are open
The assistant shows which payment methods are available for your account. Useful before a payment is created, and when somebody asks whether a particular method is switched on.
Process a refund
On an existing payment the assistant can send money back, in full or in part, with a description alongside. That action is irreversible and therefore only goes ahead after a confirmation.
Your own order number attached
A payment is created with the order number from your own shop. That means a payment can later be found using the very number the customer quotes.
How Dutch shops use the connector
Shop customer service
- Situation
- A customer calls about an order and wants to know whether the payment went through.
- What the agent does
- The assistant checks the status against the order number and reports whether it is completed, declined or still created.
- Result
- The agent answers during the call instead of having to ring back.
Remote selling
- Situation
- An order comes in by phone and has to be paid before it leaves the warehouse.
- What the agent does
- The assistant creates a payment with the amount and the order number and returns the payment link.
- Result
- The customer pays straight away and the order can ship the same day.
E-commerce management
- Situation
- The question comes up whether a particular payment method is actually available for the shop.
- What the agent does
- The assistant pulls up the payment methods available for the account.
- Result
- A factual answer without assumptions, after which the manager knows whether anything still has to be arranged.
Returns
- Situation
- A customer sends back part of their order and wants to know when they get their money.
- What the agent does
- The assistant finds the payment by the order number, proposes the refund and processes it only after approval.
- Result
- The refund is on its way with the right description and can be traced later.
Setting up and drawing the line
-
1
A connection to your account
The connector works on a key from your own MultiSafepay account. You issue it and you remove it; nothing about the rest of the shop changes.
-
2
What the assistant may do
Checking status and listing payment methods are the base. Creating a payment and refunding are separate choices that you enable independently of each other.
-
3
For which teams
You decide which roles may use the payment assistant. Customer service might get the checking and the creating, and finance the refunding on top.
-
4
Following along per order
Every action lands in the log, with the order number it concerned. Afterwards you can see who had what created or refunded.
Payment data and where the connector stops
A payment provider sits close to the money and to customer details. This connector is deliberately kept narrow.
Where the data lives: Nederland of de EU
No card or account details
The assistant works with amounts, statuses, payment methods and order numbers. Payment credentials that would let somebody collect money themselves do not end up in an answer.
A refund is final
A processed refund cannot be reversed. That is why the assistant first shows the order, the amount and the description and waits for approval.
Everything traceable to an order
Because actions hang off your own order number, every created payment and every refund can later be tied back to the order it belonged to.
On a dedicated server
The language model runs on a dedicated server in the Netherlands. Data about orders and payments does not travel to an American model provider and is not used for training anywhere.
What shops ask about the MultiSafepay connector
Can I connect MultiSafepay to ChatGPT?
ChatGPT has no connection to your MultiSafepay account, and you do not grant access to a payment provider to a public chatbot. IntraGPT works like a chat, but with a connector pinned to one account that only does what you released and records every action.
Does IntraGPT work with MultiSafepay?
Yes, this is a working integration in use at clients. The assistant creates payments, checks their status, shows the available payment methods and can process refunds when you allow it.
What does a MultiSafepay connector cost?
Connecting is part of the trajectory we go through together. What determines the work is whether payments may be created and refunds processed alongside checking, and which teams may do so. We talk that through beforehand.
How long does setup take?
Once access on the account is arranged the connector stands within minutes. The lead time usually sits in agreeing who may have payments created and who may refund. Starting with checking only and extending later works comfortably in practice.
What do the statuses from MultiSafepay mean?
Created means the payment is ready but not completed, completed means the money arrived, declined means the payment did not go through and refunded means money was sent back. The assistant takes those words as they are, so no interpretation of its own slips in.
Can the assistant switch payment methods on or off?
No. It can show which payment methods are available for your account, but not change what is open. Switching methods on and off stays work for an administrator inside MultiSafepay. The assistant is useful around it, because it first shows the current situation.
What if a customer only has an order number?
That is usually enough. Because a payment is created with the order number from your own shop, the assistant can check the matching payment with it. If the number is wrong or no payment belongs to it, it says so instead of assuming something.
Can the assistant undo a refund?
No, a processed refund is final. That is why it shows in advance which order and which amount are involved and waits for confirmation. If the customer still has to pay, a new payment with a new payment link is the route.
