Connecting LinkedIn to AI: keeping your own company page alive, with a person between every post and the network
LinkedIn can be connected to AI, but only for what is yours: your own profile and your own company page. The assistant reads the posts of that page together with how they performed and can publish a new post. Publishing is visible to the entire network and cannot be quietly undone, so it happens only on explicit request and only after the text has been shown.
What the assistant can do on LinkedIn
The posts of the company page
The assistant retrieves what has been published on your own company page, including how those posts performed. That makes a period reviewable without anyone scrolling through the page.
Your own profile
The profile the connector works with can be requested. That sounds small, but it answers the question you want to be able to ask before publishing: on whose behalf is this speaking exactly.
Publish a post
The assistant can publish a text post or an article on behalf of the organisation. This is the only thing that genuinely goes out, and it happens only after the full text has been presented and someone has approved it.
Where it firmly stops
Other people's profiles, connection lists and data on arbitrary individuals are not included. LinkedIn does not release them, so the assistant cannot reach them either. Anyone who wants lead lists needs a different source.
Where the connector proves itself
Professional services
- Situation
- The company page is maintained by one marketer, and during her holiday everything goes quiet.
- What the agent does
- A colleague asks the assistant what has been published in recent weeks and how those posts did, and has a new post drafted in the same vein.
- Result
- The page stays active without anyone having to be trained in, and the draft goes out only after approval.
Industry and manufacturing
- Situation
- A manufacturer mostly posts product news and has no idea whether the craftsmanship stories work better.
- What the agent does
- The assistant lists the posts of the past six months with their results and groups them by subject.
- Result
- A factual basis for the content calendar instead of a debate based on personal preference.
Legal
- Situation
- A firm wants to publish a position on new legislation, but the wording has to be exactly right.
- What the agent does
- The assistant drafts the post from the firm's own knowledge base and shows it in full, so a partner can read it word for word.
- Result
- A publication checked on substance before it reaches the network, with a record of who approved it.
Management
- Situation
- The board wants to know what the organisation has put out over the past quarter.
- What the agent does
- The assistant retrieves the posts of the page for that quarter and summarises them with their results alongside.
- Result
- An overview in a few minutes, without anyone having to produce an export.
Connecting the company page
-
1
Connecting through the platform
An administrator connects your own company page in IntraGPT. Access can be withdrawn at any moment, after which the connector can do nothing at all.
-
2
Publishing as a separate switch
Reading and publishing are two separate decisions. Start with reading only and enable publishing once it is settled who may ask for it and who approves.
-
3
Using the assistant
After that someone asks in the chat what has been published and how it did, or has a post drafted. A draft can always be read in full before anything happens.
-
4
Traceable what went out
What was requested and what was published is recorded in the log. For a post on the page that establishes when it went up and at whose request.
A post on the company page is a public statement
Whatever stands on the company page is read by customers, applicants and competitors at the same time. The weight of this connector therefore sits in the publishing, not in the reading.
Where the data lives: Nederland of de EU
Present first, publish after
The full text goes to a person first. Without explicit approval nothing appears on the page, and the assistant never publishes on its own initiative.
Publishing can stay off
If you only want the connector for looking back and reporting, you leave publishing disabled. The assistant then reads what is on the page and nothing else.
Only what is yours
The connector reaches no further than your own profile and your own page. Personal data of other people never enters it, and that is exactly what an organisation wants to be able to explain.
Processing on our own server
The texts and results are processed on our own server in the Netherlands with open-weight models. Drafts do not pass an external model provider and nothing is trained on them.
Questions about the LinkedIn connector
Can the assistant pull up prospect profiles or connections?
No. LinkedIn guards that strictly: the connector only reaches your own profile and your own company page. So this is emphatically not a lead scraper and it cannot become one. Anyone who needs prospect lists uses a source meant for that and connects it separately.
Can I connect LinkedIn to ChatGPT?
There is no built in connector in the public chat services, and access that can publish on behalf of the company page does not belong there. In IntraGPT, LinkedIn sits inside the platform as a connector, you decide per role who may reach it, and every publication is logged.
Does IntraGPT work with LinkedIn?
Yes. LinkedIn is in the connector catalogue. The assistant can review the posts of your own company page with their results, request your own profile and, if you want, publish a post. That last one can stay switched off.
Can the AI put something on LinkedIn by itself?
Only if you enable it and only on explicit request. A post on the company page is public, gets seen by the network and cannot be quietly withdrawn. The assistant therefore shows the full text first and publishes only once a person approves.
Can the assistant reply to comments under a post?
No. This connector covers the posts of the page and their results, not the conversation underneath or the inbox. Answering comments stays manual work, which on LinkedIn is also wise: the reply should come from someone who knows the customer or the applicant.
Does a post appear under the organisation or under a person?
Under the organisation, because the connector works with the company page. That is a deliberate choice: a position taken by the company reads differently from the same position taken by a director personally. Before anything is published it is clear on whose behalf it speaks.
What does a LinkedIn connector cost?
Connecting is part of the project we run together. The work depends on whether it is read only or publishing too, how many pages are involved and which roles get access. Agreeing who approves usually takes more discussion than the connecting itself.
How long does setup take?
Connecting itself is a short job and looking back works the same day. If you also want to publish, expect an extra conversation about the tone of the page and about who may move a draft to a publication.
