Connecting Channable to AI: knowing why an item is missing from a channel
Channable can be connected to AI. The assistant looks into your projects, sees the status of the product feeds and knows the rules each project applies to the products. That answers the question every e-commerce team keeps asking: why is this item not showing on that channel. The connector only reads, so nothing is changed and no feed is restarted.
What the assistant looks up in Channable
The projects in view
The assistant knows the projects in your Channable environment. A project usually maps to a shop or a country, and it is the starting point of every question: first the right project, then the feed or the rule that belongs to it.
The status of a feed
Per project it shows how the feeds are doing and when they were last updated. That makes it clear straight away whether a feed came through cleanly or got stuck somewhere.
The rules that touch products
The product rules of a project can be reviewed: the rules that exclude items, overwrite a field or assign a category. That is usually where the explanation for a missing product sits.
Looking without touching
The connector only looks on. The assistant cannot change a rule, restart a feed or push a product to a channel. What it delivers is the diagnosis; the intervention stays human work.
Where this saves real time
E-commerce
- Situation
- A new product line is in the shop but never appears on a marketplace, and nobody knows whether the feed or a rule is to blame.
- What the agent does
- The assistant finds the project for that channel, checks how the feed is doing and when it ran, and then reviews the rules filtering on brand or category.
- Result
- Within minutes there is a lead on where it goes wrong, instead of an afternoon of clicking through two systems.
Retail
- Situation
- The marketer gets daily questions from the shop floor about items that are invisible online.
- What the agent does
- A colleague asks in the chat and the assistant checks the feed status and the excluding rules of the project involved for each item.
- Result
- The question is answered by the person asking it, without a ticket to the marketing department.
Wholesale
- Situation
- A supplier delivers fresh data and the team wants to know whether last night's feeds all came through clean.
- What the agent does
- The assistant walks the projects and lists the feeds with their status and the time they last ran.
- Result
- A morning overview of the feeds that need attention, without opening every project by hand.
Marketing
- Situation
- A campaign on an advertising channel is underperforming and the question is whether the bids or the assortment are at fault.
- What the agent does
- The assistant first checks whether the feed for that channel is current and which rules narrow the assortment, before anyone touches the campaign.
- Result
- A conversation about the right cause, because half a feed explains more than a wrong bid.
From feed to answer

1
Connecting through the platform
An administrator connects your Channable environment in IntraGPT. That takes a few minutes and access can be withdrawn again at any moment.
-
2
Deciding what takes part
With several shops or countries you choose which projects the assistant may see. If a team only works on the Belgian shop, the Dutch one does not need to be included.
-
3
Using the assistant
After that anyone with the right role simply asks in the chat: is this item on that channel, and if not, why. Nobody has to log into Channable to find out.

Everything traceable
What was requested and what Channable returned is recorded in the log. That makes it possible to see afterwards what an answer was based on.
Prices, margins and who gets to look
A feed holds more than a product name: purchasing fields, tiers and channel specific prices all say something about the margin. That is why this connector is narrow and one way.
Where the data lives: Nederland of de EU
Read only by design
The connector cannot change anything. Even on an explicit request the assistant cannot edit a rule or rerun a feed; it can only show what is there.
Access stays yours
Access to Channable is not visible to users and is managed by an administrator. It can be withdrawn at any moment, which silences the connector in one move.
Roles decide who can ask
You decide which assistants and which roles may reach Channable. An assistant for the shop floor does not need to query channel prices; an e-commerce team does.
Processing on our own server
The feed data is processed on our own server in the Netherlands with open-weight models. Your assortment and pricing do not travel to an external model provider and nothing is trained on them.
Frequently asked questions about Channable and AI
Can I connect Channable to ChatGPT?
There is no ready made connector in the public chat services, and access to your feed management does not belong in such an environment. Whoever gets in there sees the whole assortment with the prices per channel. In IntraGPT, Channable sits inside the platform as a connector, with permissions per role and a log of what was requested.
Does IntraGPT work with Channable?
Yes. Channable is in the connector catalogue. The assistant can review the projects, see how the feeds are doing and go through the product rules of a project. That is enough to work out why an item does or does not reach a channel.
Can the assistant change a rule or restart a feed?
No. The connector only looks on, so editing is out. That is deliberate: one wrong rule hits thousands of products across every channel at once. The assistant points at the spot, a person makes the change in Channable.
Why does the assistant not see a change from the shop yet?
Because a feed runs on its own schedule. What is in the webshop now only enters the feed at the next run, and after that the channel still has to process it. The assistant looks at the moment of the last run, which is why it never claims something is already live.
Why does the connector not see certain projects?
Then that project falls outside what has been connected. Channable works per company, and a project from another environment or another brand is not automatically part of it. An administrator can add it or deliberately leave it out.
Can the assistant list exactly which products are excluded?
It sees the rules and their conditions, not the full list of affected items. In practice that is enough: if there is a rule excluding items without a delivery time, you know where to look in the shop data. For the items themselves you connect the webshop as well.
What does a Channable connector cost?
Connecting is part of the project we run together. The work is determined by the number of projects involved, whether a webshop or marketplace is connected alongside Channable, and which roles get access.
How long does setup take?
Connecting itself takes a few minutes and it can be tested the same day. Most of the time goes into agreeing which questions the assistant should answer and for whom.
